I have amazing family and friends. I love my family and appreciate that I live close to them so that I can spend time with them....just not too much time.
I've maintained very close friendships with several people from college. In many ways, they are like another family. We travel and talk to each other frequently. But none live in the Charlotte area. So I'm looking for someone fun to go to movies, concerts, maybe travel.
Each year some of my friends and I choose several goals and work to meet them. I guess you can say I'm goal oriented even in my personal life. Some examples are: we drove across the US on two different occassions (northern and southern routes), visited all 100 NC counties, watched all 100 of the AFI best movies, rode a mechanical bull, did a segway tour, cruised to Alaska and Hawaii to see all 50 states and currently working on seeing all 7 continents.
It has been a while since I've actively tried dating. My relationships with friends and family have occupied my time and kept me very happy. I'm relatively open minded about who I would like to meet. At this point, I'm just testing the waters of the online options.
