The whole idea of having to sum up who I am in a few paragraphs seems pretty impossible, so I'm not going to even attempt it! I didnt grow up in Ohio, but after graduating from college here in the Dayton area, I found myself immersed in my church community. However, my church is pretty large, so it can be hard to meet people sometimes. I'm also not the kind of girl to do the whole bar/club scene inorder to meet people, so connecting with someone can be difficult at times. I am very fortune to have a job that I love where I get to invest in teens who need help in making healthy choices in their lives. That is a very big deal for me as I am not only very passionate about young people but want to make a difference in the world we live in, even if its just one step at a time.
Im the oldest of three girls and my family is everything to me. We are all extremely close although in the last couple of years we have ended up in different states. Yet, despite distance it hasnt changed our relationship. My sisters are literally my best friends. So to meet someone who understands the value of family is very important to me, not only for the present but also the future.
I would consider myself to be someone who is pretty easy going as I get along with most people. My goal for myself is to be known as someone who has a gentle spirit and is full of compassion and joy. I think those characteristics are far too gone in society. I love to have fun and its really important for me to be with someone who is going to make me laugh but also make me feel comfortable. I'm very task oriented so sometimes I need to be reminded to chill.
I have a few things in life that Im very passionate about. My faith is a big part of my life and Im pretty invested in my church. I am a singer in a band and play guitar so music is something that I love! That is where i come alive, when I'm singing. I dont expect someone to be musically talented but at least support me in what I do. A big part of my life revolves around a four legged creature. This is my horse :) Ive grown up riding and continue to do so spending a lot of time at the barn. That is def where I go to get away from the routines of life.
I'm kinda picky in what I am looking for in someone in terms of standards. I have mine and hold to them, and would hope someone else would have the same. For me, that tells alot about a person. A persons character is so important as I think it's important to be with someone who is going to make you a better person, encourage you, challenge you and be a support system. I can't say enough about that! If you aren't someone who takes your faith in God seriously, we prolly aren't the best match.
So, there ya have it. A bit about me summed up in a few paragraphs. I'm sure there's much more but i'll save that for another time. :)
