I'm super independent but an undercover hopeless romantic. I've had decent luck and met some great people in the past on Match, so I figured after over a year that I would give it a try again.
I've worked hard over the last couple years to start my own business. It's been incredibly fun and challenging but has allowed me to buy a home and finally have a fairly flexible schedule during the week and weekends. I'm a bit of a social butterfly so you can find me just about anywhere...on NW 23rd wandering the shops, Alberta St or SE bar-hopping, concerts year around from hip-hop (my fav) to rock ...I'm a bit of a concert-junkie you could say, or a new fancy cafe trying to satisfy my new "best breakfast in town" kick I am on. Other days you can catch me at home by the bbq and firepit, or building forts and painting nails with my 5 year old mini.
I'm a diehard Duck football fan and college football rules my house on Saturdays. Generally you will find me throwing the party and cooking for everyone during the season, afterall, friends are family! So hopefully you have the weekends off and can help me cook! ;) Now that business is improving and I have more time on my hands, I hope to add on season tickets and get more traveling in the next coming years. It is important to me to find someone that enjoys sports and yelling at the tv as much as I do. Otherwise, I will drive you crazy with how much I look forward to the season.
I extremely close to my brother and parents who are still married after 33 years. We spend a lot of time together camping, doing home improvement projects, taking vacations to Sunriver, or quick day trips to the local winery. To me, family and friends are the heart and soul of a beautiful home and without them, we have nothing. It is very important to me that the people I spend my time with or add to my life feel the same way about building a family, not just improving their individual self.
It is important to me that a man is affectionate....in and out the of bedroom. I love intamacy but want it outside of closed doors too. If you are afraid to show affection outside of the bedroom, I can promise you this will start to get to me (as much as I try and say it won't, lol). I like a man that isn't afraid to show me off and be proud to have me on his arm while showing anyone around how he feels about me. I refuse to be in another relationship that is secretive about anything.
Overall, I am looking to find someone to spend the amazingly good and the not so great times with. I am done playing hard to get or chasing after someone that is. I can truly say that I am ready to put the effort towards someone that is looking to build strong, FUN, honest, healthy friendship, if not relationship. I am hoping to prove myself RIGHT that getting one or two broken hearts is always worth it when you find one or two prince charmings along the way. I know they exist and can't wait to make a man just as happy as he makes me and I refuse to settle for anything else. :)
