I am: always reading a new book, (relatively) knowledgeable about politics and history, a morning person, a big fan of NPR/WNYC, addicted to Starbucks iced green tea (unsweetened only), loyal, honest, unwavering in my beliefs, sick of clubs (though I love to dance, when appropriate, or hang out at a bar with friends), a football/baseball fan (Giants/Yankees, but I'll watch most professional games), and looking for someone I want to talk to (about anything and everything) after a long day.
I have: an untouchable ability to create mix CDs, a love of a well-written book, and a sarcastic sense of humor.
I pride myself on: the support I provide for my friends and family, and, of course, my ability to hustle in a city crowd.
Favorite Books: The Perfect Storm, by Sebastian Junger and The Help, by Kathryn Stockett. Other, strong contenders: James Patterson's Alex Cross and Women's Murder Club novels, Laura Lippman's Tess Monaghan novels, Dennis Lehane's Angie and Patrick novels, and The Deadliest Sea by Kaylee Thompson (non-fiction).
Random facts: I love taking photographs. I am fascinated by aquariums. Do you remember the show Supermarket Sweep? All jokes aside, as a child, I thought this was one of the best shows on TV. I think trains are the best way to travel, without question.
You might be: passionate about your work, a book-lover, trustworthy, unflinchingly loyal, a sports fan, honest, kind of a nerd, funny (but not in that "stand up comic" kind of way), and/or intelligent (but not afraid to show it). You might also possess any number of other, wonderful qualities or harbor many interests that I've yet to discover -- please do share them if you see fit.
Also: If you're looking for a partner for The Amazing Race, you've found her. Except: you will have to complete all water-related road blocks. Just a heads up.
