This is where I’m supposed to tell you all about myself, but the real question is what do you really want to know?
No, I’m not going to win any beauty pageants. I’m not very hard on the eyes either. I take pride in how I look. I’m fit, but not obsessive about being fit. I’m an outdoors person, so I’m not into make-up and fashion, but if you want to go out for a night on the town I’m just as good at dressing up as dressing down.
My tastes are eclectic, to say the least. One day I can be found out in the middle of the woods, the next I may be in the middle of an art gallery or at an opera. Nature, the arts, good food, anything that enriches life has an appeal to me. I would like to travel more, but who wants to travel alone? I’d also like to learn how to dance, but I’ve been told that’s hopeless until I learn to relax a little by a very dear friend; she could be right.
I’m going to school right now in an effort to advance my career, so work and school are a large focus in my life. I’m also a full-time single mom. It keeps me very busy and focused, but not too busy to add some fun and a little companionship to my life.
I’m half Italian and was raised primarily by my Italian family, so I’m passionate about three things; family, food, and… well we can talk about that some other time. It also means I cook, talk with my hands, and have that fiery Italian temper.
What am I looking for? You know that’s a really good question. A friend told me to be brutally honest. Honesty is a good place to start. I’m a little old fashioned; I still believe men should open doors, buy a lady flowers every once in a while for no reason at all, tell a lady she’s beautiful even if she looks like a hot mess. Communication is important, if you don’t enjoy talking to the person you’re with it doesn’t matter how great anything else is because at the end of the day if you have nothing to talk about where is it going to go. I’m looking for someone who is actually looking to date, maybe build something more.
