I am a happy, positive and energetic person who has been divorced for about 2 years now and ready to move towards a long term relationship. The casual/just friends situation is not something i am seeking at this point in my life.
I eat mindfully most meals, except for a nice evening out when some bar food or pizza are an indulgence and I hope to find someone who cares enough about his health to appreciate this. I care about our world but would not consider myself a hippie...i have even been known to put a pop can in the garbage in the absence of a recycling bin. I love animals, do not eat or wear them, but respect other's choice in this regard. Hunters, however, are not my type.
I have and am willing to make the time for an awesome relationship and i am looking for the same in return.
In general...i am funny, intelligent and down to earth....looking to meet a similar guy. I have 3 quite spoiled pets, and a mutual love for animals is a plus. I love being a teacher and am dedicated to my career while fortunate to have one that allows me a good deal of time to enjoy other aspects of life.
I do enjoy microbrews or a good whiskey, but consider my emotional and physical health important and keep consumption at a responsible level. Heavy drinkers or pot smokers are a turnoff....cigarette smoking is a dealbreaker.
My regular enjoyments include working out, walking/hiking, spoiling my puppies, shopping, DIY home projects and hitting one of Colorado's awesome microbreweries. Given the time i like road-trips, amusement parks, Rockies games, or exploring this beautiful state.
I'm looking for someone super fun yet responsible....active yet able to chill....funny yet able to be serious when necessary...hard-working yet leaves the job at 'the office' and enjoys time off....passionate yet loving...get the picture :)
There is so much more to say about myself and the person i hope to find as a 'match' but i would much prefer to share and discover those things through the process of getting to know each other!
