I'm recently single, so this is kind of a new adventure for me. I look forward to meeting some new people.. some NICE people... Some FUN people....Old grumps need not apply! I'm the kind of girl who would talk to just about anybody in an elevator or a grocery store, but in a bar, forget about it! It just seems too forced, too obvious and it makes me nervous. If you take me to a bar, I'm cool with that by the way, I just don't necessarily approach people in bars.
I love kids. I don't have any myself, but I think it's great if you have some of your own. I work with kids everyday and come home with great stories and a rare appreciation of fart jokes.
I'm a very family oriented person. I have a close, crazy family that I look forward to sharing with someone down the road.
I enjoy going out... movies, dinner, drinks, theater, road trips. Just as much, I like to stay in with Netflix, a bottle of cheap wine, and Chinese takeout. I like to keep some balance with going out and staying in.
I also enjoy working out. I've been working hard to get healthy. I love going to bootcamp several nights a week. I'm also working on turning myself into a runner.
I have two dogs, a neurotic loving golden retriever and a dopey sweetheart yellow lab. I also have a very fluffy, big-boned temperamental old cat. He has run the house for years.
Overall, I'm a pretty easy going girl. I have a wicked sense of humor, very sarcastic and I appreciate those who are also quick-witted. I'm kind and intensely loyal once you gain my trust.
Just to let you know, I am currently separated. I've been on my own since November. The lawyers say my divorce will be final in a matter of a few weeks or less. It can't happen soon enough for me.
