I guess the best way to describe myself is to say that I live deeply. I am very committed to my friends and family, so I'm looking for someone who is equally passionate about their relationships... someone who truly likes people and who loves to laugh. I hope to find a man who has spark- who is genuine and who wants to make a difference. Because I have worked hard to establish my career, I am looking for a man who is equally driven. That said, I want to meet someone who recognizes that there is much more to life than simply work, who is willing to put time into building a relationship. Ideally, that would be someone who loves to travel, particularly off the beaten path. (I spend a lot of time traveling to various parts of Africa, so I'd love to meet someone who is eager to join me!) Ultimately, I am looking for someone to share my daily life with. Maybe one night a week we'd open up the cookbook and try to figure out a new recipe (me sipping red wine and you wearing an apron). Another night we'd go to a movie or a local pub. On weekends, we might go camping, rafting or take a long trail run. Or we might decide to dress ourselves up and hit the town--whatever that might mean! I have a dog who is a big part of my life--a rescue from a Waffle House in Atlanta. He's been the constant in my life over the last six years. If I met the right person, I would definitely be open to the possibility of having (or adopting) children. If that is not in the cards, I am okay with that too. In either case, I am excited by the possibility of meeting my "match" and falling deeply in love. (I am definitely willing to move out of Lafayette if the opportunity arises. I'm able to commute to my job from many different places!)
