I have a passion for work and travel, meeting people from different cultures and exploring. Fortunately my job feeds my travel addiction by sending me around the world on occasion. I have more lonely planet guides on my bookshelf than cookbooks (sorry, not much of a chef).
I am happy sitting on a beach with a book or backpacking into the mountains for 2 wks with no cell phone signal. I am a low maintenance girl, genuine, supportive and honest. Some people call me naive, but I just like to see the best in people and give everyone equal opportunity.
My family and friends are the center of my life and keep me grounded. I was brought up in a family of engineers who have a geeky sense of humor and who think they can build/fix everything or at least invent something better. While I currently on Long Island, I have lived on the Cape and in the mountains of the west. I spend much time with family upstate in the north country and in VT, especially during the ski season, and hope to one day move there.
I am looking for someone who has a similar love to travel/explore (I really am looking for someone to share the cost of the room), with a sense of humor and love of family.
