I just moved here six months ago and I must say my first summer and fall have been great. I miss my Buckeye state but love my new job. I'm sharp, funny, and together. I work 3 days a week as a NICU nurse with some really challenging tiny patients. On my days off I like to workout but I forgive myself when I dont. I like to eat healthy but somedays nothing but a cheeseburger will do. I'm independent and I think it's important for two people to have interests outside each other but I have days when I need a hug or a cuddle. I'm smart but goofy and I love making my coworkers laugh (even at my own expense). I'm just at home at a baseball game or barbeque as a dressy dinner. I like good beer but I know my way around a wine menu too. I love to hike but dont like camping (I want to go home and shower and not sleep on the ground). I look equally cute in a dressy dress or tee shirt and cheap sunglasses. **Disclaimer--There are days when no of this is true and I just take a hot bath and drink a glass of wine and maybe get a pedicure. You did say you're looking for a woman right?**
I'd like to meet someone who's an equal set of contradictions. Smart but silly and sarcastic (humor is a must). Strong but also sweet and kind hearted. Able to sit quietly in the car or talk for a long time over a glass of wine or coffee. Confident without being arrogant. I don't care if you make a lot of money as long as you're doing something you love or moving toward that end. Physical attraction is important but I'll take witty banter over a 6 pack anyday. Please have read a book in the last year. Opinions are fantastic even if they differ from mine. I'd like to go out to new places and try new things. I dont want a man who is kind to me. I'd like to meet a man who is kind to everyone because it's his character.
I have two great kids (girl 13, boy 10) and they're with me quite a bit. Their father and I have gotten along really well for the last 3 years which isnt hard to do considering 1. I love them 2. It's what's best for them 3. I have the ability to put their needs 1st. So we've managed to stay friends.
Send me an email if you're interested. P.S. I don't do IM. It's not personal I just sometimes do more than one thing on the computer at once or walk away and IM's make me feel tied to the screen. Winks are great but I'd rather have an email.
