I'm an optimistic, energetic, easy-going person who loves music, animals, and fitness. I enjoy finding humor in everyday life and not taking myself too seriously. I think fitness is important and I'm pretty active--you won't find me in the house on a nice day. My DVR is filled with concerts from the Palladia channel and stand-up comedy that I may watch if there's nothing else to do. I'm lucky enough to have a consulting job that allows me to work from home during the day, so once Thursday evening rolls around I'm usually out with friends watching a band or gigging myself in one of the local bars.
I like to talk politics, books, movies, current events, and animals. Actually, I can talk about anything with the right motivation. If you took Speech Comm class in college and remember the day you had to draw a topic out of the hat and talk about it for five minutes without stopping...let's just say I was a natural at that assignment.
I like to travel, but the only international traveling I've done lately was to the UK for work and to the family cottage in Canada for vacation. I love to go to the beach and I'm looking forward to summer.
My favorite quote right now is "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible." - Dalai Lama. The quote i'm using in my headline is from an ee cummings poem entitled "Dive for Dreams" and is part of a tattoo I got a couple years ago.
I'm looking for someone who can keep the conversation interesting, loves music and going to new bars and restaurants, is kind to others, and is fun to hang out with. Hopefully, that someone is reading this profile.
