Hello, my name is Chrissy and I think I’ll try the brief approach this time. If you want to know more, we’ll have to meet over coffee! I am a simplistic person who appreciates the simple things in life. Quality always trumps quantity in my mind. With that said, I value my relationships with a few close friends over a number of acquaintances. I have two kids, 18 and 9, who live with me. My job provides me with a simple living, but the work I do leaves me feeling rich (cheesy, I know). I am not a girly girl. I prefer shorts/jeans and t-shirt/tank with tennis shoes or sandals over heels and dresses. I don’t mind dressing up and like to from time to time, just not every day. I enjoy hanging out at home playing board games, watching movies, or going on day trips/hikes/rides to new places that are in the middle of nowhere and that are less traveled. I try to go hiking at least once a week, (rain, snow, or shine), I actually prefer the rain...everything always smells so good! My goal is to be running the trails at Pack Forest by June. I also like kayaking, haven't done the white water, just calm waters, but would love the excitement of the white with an experienced rider. I like a challenge either physical or mental! I enjoy trying new things and am hoping to meet someone that can introduce new activities to me. DISCLOSURE: I am a zombie geek and love watching B rated zombie movies (just to laugh at) and yes, I look forward to Sunday evenings so I can watch Walking Dead. I recently took my geekiness to an all new level and signed up for my first 5k obstacle course, called Run for Your Lives. Google it...I'm super excited and would love to have someone to train with and who knows...maybe do it with me in August. Survivors run in packs ;o) I’d like to meet someone with an open mind and heart that is willing to take a chance and if your still reading this after the zombie disclosure, lets take a chance and just meet up for coffee and see where it goes...no pressure!
