If you are looking for someone to watch the Real Housewives of NJ/NY with you, I'm probably not that girl. On the other hand, if you're looking for someone with a sarcastic sense of humor, who thoroughly enjoys making others laugh and feel good about themselves, then we can talk.
I am fortunate enough to work with kids as an occupational therapist, so I get to laugh a lot at work - except during important meetings, during which I attempt to be professional. "Attempt" is probably the key word there. Even though I've lived in Westchester for the last 10 years, I grew up in Orange County (the one upstate, not the one in California) and I'm still close with my family. Our gatherings are never boring, we love reminiscing about past food fights or other mayhem usually started by my uncle. I wouldn't want it any other way.
I always enjoy exploring the city to check out live music, shows, museums, and so on. I love finding interesting new places and I like to challenge myself and push beyond my comfort zone, trying new things. I've taken some cooking classes and would like do more of that. I'm happy to chill out with some friends at a bar, but not into places where you have to wait on line to get in. I love being active outdoors and recently got into kayaking, and I enjoy horseback riding as well. I'm a lifelong Yankee fan and I've even started getting into football recently too.
I also like to travel and am looking forward to doing that more often. I go to California fairly regularly to visit family, and I have also been to the Caribbean - Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and Aruba. I would love to explore Europe, especially France, Italy and Greece. I also would like to go to Australia one day.
I look for someone who has a wicked sense of humor, can make me laugh, and carry on interesting conversations. Someone sincere, caring, generous, and respectful. A man who is loyal and devoted to family. And if you can cook, that's awesome since I love to eat :)
