Here goes... describing oneself isn't the easiest thing to do. Summer is my favorite season! I love being in the sun and outdoors. Traveling to warm climates is my idea of a vacation. I've traveled to Turks and Caicos, Domincan Republic,Cancun, Ireland for graduate school, and Vancouver. People say I Iook younger than my age and I was last carded when I was 42! I love dining out or in, grilling outdoors, hanging out with family and friends at a campfire, going to the gym for a hit of endorphines, visiting family out of state, and learning. I love games like words with friends. I love a good challenging opponent in any game at hand. I read a lot and enjoy most types of movies. I don't have any pets right now because I work long hours and I don't want to leave a pet alone all day. My last pet was pesky beagle with bad habits that managed wrap me around her paw. It was heartbreaking when she died. Dating a guy with a dog or friendly cat would be a bonus.
I achieved an important goal of earning a master's degree. Also on my life's goals' list was to own a home. Being a single teacher made it a challenge. A much lesser goal was learning to fly on the trapeze which I did on vacation. I can also cross parasailing off my bucket list. I really want to go sky diving.
I have no children and I don't want any at this stage of my life. I don't mind if my date has children. I've been a teacher for over 20 years and I love kids. Friends say that I am kind, friendly, caring, compassionate, fun-loving, and a wise guy. I spent a lot of time on Lake Winnipesaukee. I love the Cape, too, but I haven't spent much time there. I enjoy spending time with my family but they are scattered out of state.
I'm looking for someone who is fun to be around. A nice guy is one that is empathetic and caring of others. I'd like to meet a working professional who is grounded in his work and career and can respect that I am, too. He must LOVE the Patriots and hate the Yankees. :-) I'm a huge Patriots fan. Bruschi and Welker are my favorite players and I can't help but love Gronkowski. Brady is an exceptional player but I don't get all high-school-silly over his good looks. Just play ball. I'm in mourning since Welker got the shaft from the Pats.
I really don't like motorcycles or tattoos and the lifestyle that goes with them so if that's your thing, read the next profile.
