I am a young 30 year old, bright, successful and talented woman. I finished my associates and bachelors degree from The Ohio State University in Early Childhood Education. I finished my first masters in Early Childhood and my second masters in Special Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I currently teach high school students at Rushmore Academy in Marion (a school for credit recovery and students whom struggle to be successful in other high schools). I was raised in LaRue, moved to Columbus/Dublin after college graduation and moved back to Marion after receiving my first teaching job in Marion City Schools in Special Education teaching students with emotional disturbances 5 years ago. I am very close with my mother and father who have been married for over 30 years now. They have been great role models. I am so blessed! I have 3 younger siblings (2 sisters and a brother) whom I love dearly. I currently live in Big Island, Ohio with my doggie, Scooter, who is my best friend and my baby.
I enjoy a lot of the things, but the most important thing in my life is God. God has shown me how important and special I am and recently I've been holding tight to that. He has shown me that I should never settle for less than what I am worth. He has a plan for me. I will always have people in my life who love me.
My hobbies include teaching, singing (used to do a lot of performing), music in general (I’m trying to learn to play the guitar and love to plunk the notes out on a piano. I grew up playing the drums, but really suck at it now), bowling (I am the head bowling coach at Marion Harding HS), spending time with my family and Scooter, watching and collecting movies, reading books of all kinds, walking and exercising as my body allows, dining out (but trying to eat a healthy diet at the same time), laughing, meeting new people, watching sports on TV and live (I would like to coach basketball one day...the little kids..the fun stuff), traveling (with family or friends or whoever will go with me), camping, photography, fishing, volunteering, attending music events like concerts, attending special events (fundraisers, benefits, etc) and many, many other things. I’m usually up for trying new things (except for new foods and that is a whole other story!!)
I haven't included much in my profile about what this woman wants in a relationship. I have done this because I have a serious dating philosophy and many men are terrified of a woman who knows exactly what she wants. Don't be afraid of a woman who knows what she wants. It may be the first time you're not confused by a woman and her needs. Still interested?
