I would like to start by saying that my divorce will be finalized in the beginning of the New Year. Although divorce can be difficult, I feel that it has enabled me to become more aware of what I am looking for in a partner and the qualities that would be most complimentary and compatible with myself and goals.
Random pleasures in life…a crisp fall day, a hot cup of tea on a snowy winter day, the warm sun on my face, the icy cool ocean washing over my feet, sore muscels from a good workout, laughter, having a passion, the rush of excitement as it floods my body, a camp fire, a warm touch….
I am caring, honest, and have a sarcastic sense of humor and appreciate all of these qualities in others. I love to laugh, have stimulating conversation, try new things, and visit new places. I enjoy a wide range of activities that keep me balanced and entertained, such as yoga, kayaking, writing, trying a new restaurant/bar, or going to a concert/live music. I am always on the prowl for a new experience or hobby to add to my repertoire. There are a couple of new activities that I am hoping to add to my list in the New Year. My family and friends are very important to me and I am grateful to have them in my life. We always have fun when we get together and are very supportive of each other.
I am optimistic, goal-oriented, and tend to think outside of the box. These are virtues that I hope to find in a partner. I am looking to meet someone to share new experiences with and who can be a best friend and lover in all that life has to bring. I am looking for someone who is honest, genuine, confident, and knows how to have fun. It is important for him to know what he wants in life and who he is. Family is also important. No family is perfect, but looking for someone who has a strong value of what it means to be a family. I want to be with someone who I can laugh with, have good conversations, be mutually supportive, challenge each other to grow, and share a passion for life and our relationship. Hopefully I will hear from you and we can see where things go from there!
