So, I'm pretty sure no guys ever believe this coming from a girl, but I really am a laid back person. I like to have fun, go new places, try new foods and activities, but like to go with the flow and make the most of random opportunities. I was raised in a really small town, but have lived in California, Manhattan, Nevada, Indiana, and now DC. In all of my time living in these different places I've learned that people everywhere are more alike than they are different. I love the comfort and familiarity of small towns, but living in the city is so fun and there is usually a ton to offer. Though nothing beats actually being able to see so many stars in the sky you can't even begin to count them :)
I'm a Graduate Research Assistant studying Molecular Biology and I love it completely. It keeps me extremely busy, but I always make time for my favorite pastime-- watching football! Seriously, no joke, I am a die-hard fan. My team's site and deadspin are probably my most visited sites when I'm bored at work.
I love my job, hiking, exploring the area, baking, wine, painting, and hanging out with my friends. I don't have any definite ideas about what I'm looking for, it all depends on the person and the particular situation. I like to just see how things go and have fun along the way.
