I moved to Vermont from San Diego, California 2 years ago. I lived in California my whole life, so moving to the Northeast has been...culturally shocking. I've been getting used to living with seasons and the whole 6 month long winter thing. I'm a high school librarian, which is the best job in the school. I got so lucky with this job too and I love where I work.
I have a horse that came with me from San Diego and riding is one of my favorite things to do. I also have a young cat that is incredibly goofy and a little crazy. I'm working hard at not turning into the quintessential cat lady/librarian, but the urge to go out and get 5 more cats is strong. Very strong.
I'm looking for a guy who makes me laugh, pushes me out of my comfort zone, and enjoys life in general. I'm a big reader (duh-- part of my job description) and I also have a weakness for watching TV, staying inside on cold days, and eating lobster. My parents took me and my brother to a lot of different places when we were growing up and I still love traveling.
Can't wait to meet you---
