I left the online dating world a few years ago but now I think I'm ready to try again. At 44, I ttruly believe that 40 is the new 30! Because I am a professional businesswoman, oftentimes men assume that I am too serious or too busy, without even talking to me. Can you at least talk to me first before jumping to conclusions?! :) I am very approachable and even consider myself to be a "cut up", meaning that I love to laugh and have fun. I do not like hanging around up-tight people.
Although I have never been married before, I would like to get married one day but I do not want to rush it. I want to get to know that person first and then go from there. I am open to dating someone in Houston or another city.
I am originally from Missouri, have lived in Houston for over 20 years and now planning to relocate to the KC area in a few months. I have my own public relations, marketing and event management company, so I am out and about a lot but haven't seemed to run into the right person yet.
What am I looking for in a partner?
I am looking for someone who knows what he wants out of life and is actively making that happen. I want him to have a great sense of humor but can be serious when needed.
I'd just like to add...
I love all types of music but I especially like neo-soul, R B, jazz, 80s and 90s music. I like to attend live concerts, go to the theater and take weekend trips.
I love to read and write. I hope to finish my book this year.
I have been asked why am I single so I'll go ahead and answer that upfront. The last person that I dated that I thought might lead to marriage started playing games around the second year of our relationship, so we broke up. I wasn't into all of that unnecessary drama. Since then, I just haven't found someone that I have clicked with.
I think I'll stop here and you can ask me more questions if you are interested.
