I'm at a point in life where I hope to meet new people and possibly meet "the one" God has for me. Yes, I'm looking for a serious relationship! But I'm also exploring and willing to take the time.
I'm passionate about living life to the fullest and enjoying everything the world has to offer. Also, I’m passionate about my faith in Jesus, growing in my faith and helping others through volunteering.
As a child I lived in two cities in the country of Colombia. But I have also lived in Florida, and Washington DC. Everyone asks me what brought me to Iowa. I don’t know… I’m kidding. I like Iowa! I feel that I have been raised in two cultures that I've come to appreciate and love.
Growing up I was encouraged to dream. To believe that I could accomplish anything I'd set my mind to if I worked hard enough. I hope to find someone who also wants to get the most out of life and have fun. While also understanding the small setbacks in life.
When it comes to a relationship, I appreciate someone genuine and honest. As well as someone who can be himself around me and understands that relationships need to be nurtured every day. That being said I love getting flowers! Someone who will treat me like a lady, open the door for me and let me know he is interested. Someone who is affectionate and enjoys small gestures that shows my appreciation.
I have a close relationship with my family. I also like hanging out with my friends, visiting museums, going to concerts, going out to dinner or simply cooking a nice meal at home.
I hope to meet someone who is a practicing Christian and has family values. I believe those two aspects are very important when thinking long term. I would love to find someone who enjoys learning about the world by being there, that is traveling and meeting local people.
