Hmm... how does somebody describe their personality to complete strangers without sounding wicked narcissistic? Maybe I'll go the effective, yet overused, "My friends say that I am ____" route. My friends say that I have a good, albeit often twisted, sense of humor. Do a google image search for samples of my favorite card game, "Cards Against Humanity", and you'll find that very few topics are off-limits for jokes. My friends would say that sarcasm is a language I speak fluently. My friends would also say that I am thoughtful and kind, and that this often makes me a little gullible. They would say that I am laid-back and can enjoy doing pretty much anything from spending time with friends, hiking, grabbing some drinks, enjoying live music, or spending a night home cooking dinner or watching movies together. My friends would say my taste in music is pretty eclectic. I mostly listen to indie or classic rock, but my ears no longer bleed when I listen to country songs (from the last 5 years, anyway) and when I am working out or drinking I will listen to admittedly terrible rap music. Songs I could leave on repeat lately are "People" and "Kill Your Heroes" by AWOLNATION, as well as "The Cave" and "Roll Away Your Stone" by Mumford & Sons. My friends would also say that I don't think you should ever be too grown up to do silly things like blow bubbles, draw with sidewalk chalk, or play with legos. Mmmkay I think that's enough of the "My friends say"... I'm a happy person and am looking for someone with a great sense of humor, an open mind, and a thoughtful caring heart. I would love to meet someone who is outgoing, since I tend to be a little shy until I get to know someone better. I hope to meet someone who is also looking for something serious and committed, something that will lead to a simple happy life making memories together with family and friends.
