So I was at the beach the other day with a friend, conditions weren't what either of us had expected. There was almost no beach and we were sitting practically in the dunes. She commented on how the conditions weren't ideal or the day wasn't what she had planned on. I replied that things change, plans change. And she said well, are you flexible?! As a part time yoga instructor, it was one of the biggest compliments I could get. That flexibility of the mind as well as of the body is what I strive for. People also usually admire my wit and quirky sense of humor.
I'm happiest reading a good book on the beach with my friends and son nearby to chat with between paragraphs. The warm sun, cool ocean breeze, and sounds of laughter could be my definition of perfection.
The qualities I'm looking for in a partner are the same ones I value within myself. Honesty, trustworthiness, intelligence. I'm tired of being jerked around by men who don't know what they want. But life isn't all serious. The right guy for me needs to be able to laugh at himself and be a little crazy.
