To start off, I find being able to banter with someone witty and sarcastic to be highly enjoyable. I feel having intellectual chemistry to be equally as important as physical chemistry. Now, time to talk incessantly about myself. Just kidding. Sort of. I do everything 100%. I wouldn't have a career, hobby, relationship, or friendship unless I was completely passionate about it. During the day I teach in a special education first and second grade classroom and wouldn't trade it for anything. Outside of that I teach fitness classes at the gym and play coed softball in the summer. I value being healthy and in shape and would need a partner who did as well. I love being active whether it be hiking, taking day trips, or even playing in a backyard wiffleball game. I take pride on my appearance and like to dress nicely for a night out, but also have no problem throwing on my sweats for a movie night on the couch. I'm very much into our hometown sports teams and listen WEEI every morning. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with everything in my life and think sharing it with someone is the one thing I'm still missing. I put most of my time and energy into my career and education for the past few years and it's paid off tenfold, but I didn't focus too much on a relationship.
Now for what I'm looking for...I'm on this site because I'm tired of dating people I meet at the gym, out socially, etc. I think this gives an opportunity to get to see what a person's all about first (or in some cases what they pretend to be about) and you can go from there. I'd like to meet a man who isn't complacent and is constantly striving to be better in some aspect since that is the credo I live by. I'm hoping to meet someone physically active and adventurous, but who could also relax and enjoy the quieter moments. I love sports and would prefer who I'm with to want to watch some games with me. What I find most attractive: confidence (not cockiness), independence, ability to dish it out as well as take it, nice teeth, smells good, and can fit into different scenarios and social circles. Oh, and lastly, I'm looking for a man who is understanding seeing that my love for Jason Varitek is unending and he'll always have a special place in my heart ;-)
