A transplant from sunny Arizona, I relocated to New York in 2006. Since then, every year around February I seriously question my sanity. But I somehow find a way to survive by traveling around visiting friends in more friendly climates ;) I work in the Bronx, live in Westchester, and spent an equal amount of time in the city.
During football season, you can find me on the Upper East Side at the usual bar with friends, yelling at the TV and ordering hot wings. I am a Bears fan all the way, but if you are charming enough, I may root for your team.
If I had to choose a favorite food, Mexican would top the charts. But I love everything in between...American, Indian, Peruvian, Latin, Sushi...you name it, I like it. But dessert is definitely the way to my heart....chocolate and cookies ;)
About a year ago, I got sick of having nothing to contribute while all of my friends quoted 'How I Met Your Mother' episodes, so I caved and bought the DVDs. Now I watch the show religiously and absolutely love it. I have some other guilty pleasures that I can't live without, which means I am a total DVR addict.
Writing about myself is not something I do well, but basically I am a very caring and passionate person. I love to make people happy, which sometimes I do despite what I actually want for myself. My friends and my family are very important in my life. Sarcasm is my second language, so it would be nice to find someone who is witty and can challenge me in that way. I am hoping to attract someone with a great sense of humor and can make me laugh until my face hurts. I want someone who is driven and focused, but also knows how to have a good time. Finally, while physical attraction is important, the chemistry between us is above all. I am really looking to be treated like a lady. Unfortunately, my dad has really ruined that for you men out there....he completely spoiled my mother :)
