I'm working on my PhD in literature and I am a graduate Teaching Assistant. I'm really excited about my research, but I don't like to talk about it that often. I hardly take myself or life seriously, and I'm not really that concerned about what my future will be. I most enjoy the company of people who don't worry about fitting their life into a narrative and who make space in their lives to not be an adult. I have a pretty dry/wry sense of humor, and it's a plus when the people I spend my time with understand that kind of wit.
Right now I'm looking for people who have a certain intensity about them. I'm looking for meaningful connections, but I want to keep things light-hearted, and I am not looking for a serious long-term relationship.
