There is no such thing as my “ideal match.” In dating, I look for a girl that cannot be summed up in words. I look for girl that inspires more than a “she makes me laugh” or “she’s motivated and driven” response when asked by family and friends why I like her. I look for wordless moments that make me love her all over again, like how she makes a silly face when she is confused, or angry, or feeling the need to just make a silly face. That’s the kind of girl I am looking for... a girl I can love for being herself. Okay, so about me. I am a writer and sports fanatic, a sentimentalist and optimistic twenty-six year old looking to break out of my comfort zone. I love my family and friends, but I am ready to branch out by meeting new people, and trying new things in this bustling city. I have so much to offer, but feel I have been focusing on school and work for the past few years, without leaving much social time for myself. It’s not that I am anti-social...quite the contrary. I just need a kick-start to remind me that there are more important things in life than a work desk and homework. I understand the value of self-motivation and having independent goals, but I also know how great it is to share successes, failures, and day-to-day life with someone you deeply care about. Because sitting on a mountain of achievements can get lonely if you forget to poke your head below the clouds every now and then. Not that I have mountainous achievements....just saying.
