So I'm at the proverbial point in my life where I'm a single in a sea among marrieds (probably not a real word but I'm going with it). You know the feeling, all of your friends are getting engaged, getting married, and having kids, and you're the only single one left getting the pressure from all sides: "When are you gonna be next?"
While I consider myself a happy person, I'd like to share that happiness with a special guy. I have a great family, great friends, and a growing career. All I'm missing is a great guy.
I'd describe myself as independent, self confident and secure with myself. As much as I want a partner in my life to share in our interests, I don't allow my single-ness to deter me from doing the things I love most, such as traveling and seeing the world.
3 things I look for in that special someone: 1) Make me laugh - I have a great sense of humor and I don't take myself too seriously. If you're funny, you're already a winner. 2) Ambition - my ideal mate is career-driven, desires success, and knows what he wants out of life. 3) Loves to travel - I want to see the world, and what better way to do that than with the one you love?
Aside from the above strict requirements, I think it's a no-brainer to say that I want a guy who's nice and treats me well. Are you that person? :)
